About

Tammy Harrison

I originally received my Reiki education through the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, Reiki Master Teacher Certification Program in Tempe, AZ.  In 2012 a trip to Kyoto, Japan continued my Reiki Training through the Jikiden Reiki Institute.  Upon my return from Japan I was asked to teach in the Traditional Reiki program as a Faculty Assistant for the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts.  That year as a Faculty Assistant was one of great personal and professional development.

I am now honored and grateful to be a Shihan Kaku and to teach the original and authentic style of Jikiden Reiki directly from Kyoto, Japan. Thank you to my Sensei Tadao Yamaguchi and Frank Arjava Petter for continuing to uncover and report the history and maintain Reiki in it’s original form as was originally intended by Mikao Usui and his predecessors Dr. Chujiro Hayashi and Chiyoko Yamaguchi.

In my continuing education I have recently added Karuna Reiki training, learning even more ways to enhance my clients healing experiences.

I am also passionate about teaching Gentle Yoga and Meditation as an Experienced Registered Yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance. I have been an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church, Modesto, California since 2010.

I find great joy in sharing these teachings and facilitating my clients natural ability to transform and heal.

Tammy’s mission is to encourage, educate and promote alternative healing arts, for those seeking peace and tranquility in the midst of everyday life, while providing a consistent level of quality care and treating everyone with loving kindness and respect.
